Ride with us in Celebration of California's Historic Event!

Please print out "Registration" and "Rules of the Road" at top-right column, fill them out, and send them in along with your check. Arrive at the designated starting point the evening before departure. If you have questions please email or call us.

Registration Options

  • Members Full trip: $110.00
  • Non-Members Full trip: $130.00
  • Family Rate (4+ immediate family Members): $400.00/full trip
  • Daily registration: $25-day/per person
  • Wagon Seat: $130 for whole trip, or $25/day per Person
  • Shuttle Service: $60 for whole trip or $10/day

Who Qualifies?

  • Any experienced rider who owns a horse or borrows one.
  • Any experienced teamster with a Team and Wagon or Buggy (must be an authentic replica - no rubber tires or plastic.)
  • Anyone wishing to ride in a wagon as a passenger and willing to dress in period attire.

Wagon Train operates by our "Rules of the Road".

All Dress and Wagons or Buggies must be Authentic Era - Please check with officials. No baseball caps, T-shirts, tank tops, halter tops, shorts.

No rides are sold or registrations taken after 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 7, 2024, at Pollock Pines. There is a Pow Wow each night at the Lead Hitch and everyone needs to attend. Shuttle service is available to move support vehicles daily. Water available.

All wagon passengers will be assigned a wagon seat by the Registration Clerk. Passengers will remain in that wagon for the trip, unless otherwise directed by the Registrar. Occasionally wagon loads are adjusted when grade or horse conditions demand.

Passengers are asked to NOT load yourself or baggage until given the OK by teamster. For everyones safety, it is critical that horses are completely harnessed to the wagon and the teamster has control in the box. You will notice that SAFETY IS OUR FIRST PRIORITY.
